Clear skies welcomed the 27271 spectators who had made their way to TOSHIBA Inc. Arena. Gyula Kaczkó was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Miroslav Votoupal and Elvezio Mucchi. TOSHIBA tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Today, X-Team's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. X-Team's counterattacks were lethal to the opposing defence, allowing T. Luikinga to score easily from the right flank for 0 - 1. A. Famparski received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 8 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The X-Team fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 8 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for K. Lamhauge who increased X-Team's lead to 0 - 3. The home team's supporters got excited again when K. van der Heijden broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 3. The visitors almost increased their lead after 14 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to X-Team, who controlled the ball 55 percent of the time.

The referee signalled a penalty 49 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. S. Burcea knocked it home to make the score 1 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of X-Team were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. The home crowd cheered when, after 57 minutes, A. Famparski's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, A. Famparski would have put X-Team up another goal 59 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. A. Famparski was, after 74 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper F. Enache made the save. TOSHIBA almost scored after a counterattack 75 minutes into the match, but K. van der Heijden took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. X-Team enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

TOSHIBA's best player was F. Di Gianpasquale. J. Fructuós turned in a dismal performance, however. X-Team's top performer was clearly T. Luikinga. F. Haja on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 4.
